The west bengal government has launched several schemes for the benefit of the people of West bengal.
The Rupashree Prakalpa scheme was launched in 2018 by the West Bengal State government.
Under the Rupashree scheme WB government is providing a lump sum amount of 25,000 /- for the marriage of girls from financially backward poor families.
Families having an annual income less than Rs. 1.50 lakhs at the time of marriage of their adult daughters can avail a financial grant of Rs. 25,000 from the west bengal government.
Process of Applying:-
The applicants must visit the nearby Gram Panchayat, Municipal office,Block development officers.
Get the application form for Rupashree scheme from the office.
Fill all the necessary details and by attaching the documents submit it to the office.
The application will be verified and after verification you will get an acknowledgement slip.
The sanctioned amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the applicants.

Copy of birth certificate.
Residence certificate
Proof of proposed marriage
Proof of groom
Copy of Adhar card
Copy of voter ID
Bank account details
Coloured passport size photograph
